Role: Global Community Manager, VALORANT
As Global Community Manager for VALORANT at Riot Games, there’s a lot of responsibility when it comes to interacting with our community - when relaying good news or bad news, releasing cool shit like a new map or Agent, or even just your run-of-the-mill Twitter interaction.
I’m not lying when I say this job can be stressful and overwhelming, but it has also been the most fulfilling position I’ve ever held.
But if you’re wondering what I do exactly, it’s this:
I collect, edit, and publish VALORANT’s patch notes - when we say “player first”, we mean it. We try to relay all the changes coming in, but not only that - we explain why we’ve made this change.
Writing, editing, and publishing miscellaneous articles and series including the “What’s New in Episode ___ Act ___” articles and our Community Roundup series.
Work with/across different teams like Branding, Social Media, Localization, and Content Operations to name a few.
Making sure that our players know that we see them and hear them and care about their experience playing VALORANT.
